Delaware Lottery Announces POWERBALL® Xs & Os™ — Tapping into the Excitement of NFL Fandom Starting in September
POWERBALL® and the NFL team up for a new weekly draw game offering a rolling jackpot and the first national promotional prize program in POWERBALL® history
Dover, DE — The Delaware Lottery will be one of 24 lottery jurisdictions offering players the chance to participate in the new POWERBALL® Xs & Os™ weekly draw game. Combining the excitement of the NFL season with a rolling jackpot that starts at $1 million and POWERBALL®’s first-ever national prize program, POWERBALL® Xs & Os™ tickets will be available for purchase at Delaware Lottery Retailers statewide starting on Tuesday, Sept. 8. The first prize drawing will be held on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 10:00 p.m., then every Sunday throughout the year.
POWERBALL® Xs & Os™ tickets cost $5. For an additional $5 per drawing, players can choose up to ten consecutive drawings they would like to play. Players have the option to select their own eight NFL teams from a roster of 32 NFL teams or use the Quick Pick option. Cash prizes will be awarded based on the number of NFL team logos a player matches during the weekly random drawing. The jackpot will be awarded for matching all eight, with set prizes ranging from $20,000 to $7 for matching as many as seven teams or as few as four.
In addition, POWERBALL® Xs & Os™ is the first POWERBALL® nationwide promotion offering players the chance to win special promotional prizes — including a trip to Super Bowl LXI — beyond the game’s regular draw prizes. For no additional cost beyond the ticket purchase, players can enter eligible POWERBALL® Xs & Os™ tickets at PowerballOfficial.com to earn points in the new national prize program.
Players can enter both winning and non-winning eligible tickets at PowerballOfficial.com, earn points, and then use those points as entries for drawings for prizes they want most. Available prizes include a trip to Super Bowl LXI, NFL Shop gift cards to purchase their favorite NFL officially licensed products, and unique NFL experiences.
Delaware Lottery Players Club members have an additional way to get in on the excitement of POWERBALL® Xs & Os™. The same eligible ticket can be entered through the Delaware Lottery Players Club, where members can earn points for drawings and promotions.
