Shipo Publishes Transparent 2026 Breakdown of What 3PL Fulfillment Actually Costs

Delaware fulfillment center publishes its real per-order and per-pallet rates, plus the hidden fees brands never see until the invoice arrives.

WILMINGTON, DE, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Shipo, a Delaware-based third-party logistics and fulfillment provider, has published a transparent breakdown of 2026 fulfillment pricing, laying out its own published rate card alongside the categories of hidden fees that most direct-to-consumer brands never see until they read the invoice.

The breakdown is aimed at consumer-product brands doing roughly $3 million to $10 million in annual revenue and 5,000 to 30,000 orders per month, a segment that frequently outgrows self-fulfillment but gets buried in opaque per-order pricing when it moves to a third-party logistics provider.

"Most founders we talk to can't get a straight answer on what fulfillment actually costs," said Ophir Schultz, founder of Shipo. "There are receiving fees, storage tiers, pick fees, surcharges and packaging markups that never show up in the sales pitch. We published our real numbers because transparency is the whole reason brands leave their current 3PL."

Shipo's published 2026 rates include receiving at $14.00 per pallet or $0.18 per unit, storage at $25.00 per pallet per month, pick and pack at $2.50 per order plus $0.50 per additional item, and Amazon FBA prep at $1.25 per unit. Parcel shipping is billed per the company's published parcel card. Almost no third-party logistics provider publishes rates at all.

The breakdown covers:

- Pick-and-pack pricing and how per-order fees scale with order volume
- Kitting and assembly costs for subscription and bundle brands
- Packaging materials and the markups commonly hidden inside them
- B2B and pallet shipping for brands selling into retail
- Zone and transit-time economics, and why a Delaware location reaches roughly 70 percent of the U.S. population in two-day ground shipping

Shipo operates from Wilmington, Delaware, on the I-95 corridor, giving East Coast and national brands fast ground coverage without air-shipping costs. The company integrates natively with Shopify and carries no long-term contracts, no minimum order counts and no minimum monthly spend. Delaware charges no state sales tax.

Shipo LLC is an FDA-registered food facility, U.S. FDA Registration No. 15630823908. FDA registration is not FDA approval or endorsement.

The full 2026 fulfillment cost breakdown is available free on the Shipo website.
